Out of the following two.
Background. Im 38 y.o.,my skin is dry and dehydrated and a bit sensitive. There are few creams that hydrate and nourish for a long time. Most of the time, I'm happy for a while, but then notice that my skin becomes dehydrated. In the warmer season, I can use the Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance, and it's nice, but with the upcoming cold season, it simply isn't enough.
I've had good luck both with Dermalogica and Decleor in the past, so I think I'll stick to them. The thing is, I can't decide. I need both a moisturizer and a hydrating serum. I'm using other products in addition, but now, hydrating is my main interest.
The choice is between:
Dermalogica Age Smart Super Rich Repair (not hydrating enough on its own, though quite greasy), plus Skin Hydrating Booster. Or maybe only the booster, plus Intensive Moisture Balance (which I already have)?
Or:
Decleor Nutridivine Soft Cream and Aromessence Neroli. I've also had good luck with Dermalogica in the past, but the Nutridivine is new.
Or, the third option. A really good hydrating serum that I can layer under the Intensive Moisture Balance? Any proposals for such a gem?
Help me before I'm turning into the Gobi desert here. |

I think I'll try the third option, but need recommendations for a good hydrating serum for dry, sensitive skin. |

Have you looked at Skinceuticals B5 Hydrating serum? I think there may be hyaluronic acid in it. It's a clear serum you can apply before or with moisturizer. It can be a bit sticky if you apply too much though. |

I would recommend Decleor's Rose d'Orient Arommessence oil under the RdO Night Balm for night and use the oil under your regular day cream. You only use 2 drops of the oil, so it sinks right in. I have the Rose and use it after peels, and love it.
Right now I'm using the Ylang Ylang oil and night balm to heal a purge from the OCM. It's working really well. I add a drop of Tamanu to the oil and so far, NO marks left behind! And it's even healed some undergrounder type zits.
I don't know the other brand at all, but I love Decleor - and it's all natural! |
