Dear all,
I am in search of a new eyecream. I feel like this happens to me every time I run out of current cream Don't we all always search for "the eye cream" ?
I have used in the past shiseido, cellcosmet, and last one being Valmont Cyto Eye Complex Factor II - Lifting Eye Contour Cream. I did not see a huge difference between cellcosmet and valmont in terms of reducing lines and both seemed to be comparable in terms of moisturizing.
I want someting that's non-greasy and at the same time keeps my under eye area moist all day long.
Please share what everyone is using. |

I just use whatever face products (whether moisturisers, sunscreens, serums or retinoids) that I use on my face and neck in the eye area. |

I can't do that at all...I've tried a few times and my face creams even the fragrance free ones bother my eyes.
I can't use anything w vitamin C or vitamin A or any AHA's/acids in the eye area.
I even tried the derma E pycnogenol face gel that I was told I could use in the eye area.
I can only use the same verson of the derma E eye gel that is meant for the eye area only.
I've had my eye area burned too many times by harsh eye creams too.
I tried the benefit eyecon a few times on top of makeup and that was ok...but then actually tried their eye cream on plain skin and it burned my eyes and left my skin looking like sand paper.
I always try to get fragrance free eye gels to use during the day and something heavier at nightime sometimes.
But i did get a sample of bioelements eye cream with some kind of exfoliating aha or something and that was actually ok to use for me! |

I also use whatever products I use on my face around my eyes.
I really don't believe in seperate eye creams or treatments unless a person has issues with dark circles or puffiness. Those concerns need more specific ingredients. If all a person is trying to combat is fine lines or just general antiaging of the eye area any face product work fine for the eye area.
If you face products are too strong for around your eyes try a more gentle face product on your eye area. Eye products are usually just weaker versions of face products and you end up paying 4 times more for them. You also only usually get 1/2 an ounce of product compared to a facial product at 1.7 to 2 ounces.
If you really beleive you need a special product for the eyes hopefully you'll get some great suggestions from others here who believe in seperate eye products like you do. |

I use Vitamin E oil and the oil really softens and moisturizes the sensitive skin around my eyes. I also use it for my lips and they've become so so so soft!
I heard that Vitamin E oil promotes collagen growth which firms up the skin and prevents wrinkles. It's also 100% natural so there are no extra chemicals added! |

I'm currently using Decleor Radiance Relaxing eye cream. I am not sure what is the right method of application... I currently massage it around my eyes.
It has been quite good so far. I have no idea if it is effective... I have never known if eye creams make much difference... can't seem to spot the difference. But it felt quite good initially when I just started using. You could feel a bit of the firming sensation. But the feeling kind of wears off after a while when your skin is used to the product.
I did take a Before photo but haven't got around to taking an After photo to compare... the cream texture is thick but it is not oily and feels quite light after application. It's a nice feeling. |

I can not use face creams for my eyes. It just does not give me the same moisture level that an eye cream provides. |

Hi Fang,
Can you please describe or compare the moisture level of Babor to any other eye cream? Does it keep your eye area moist all day long? |

Nighttime: Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Gold Ultra Lift and Strengthening Eye Capsules - eyes look and feel fresh upon awakening.
Daytime: Dr. Dennis Gross MDSkincare Hydra-Pure Firming Eye Cream
Many products irritate my eye area and these are two products that do not, are both quite soothing. |

Unless you are still using blemish products or stuff for oilier skin like me.
No way I would put any of those things near my eyes.
I do not spend a lot on eye creams.
most I usually spend is $25
the only face product I can put near my eyes is Neostrata wrinkle repair, the one without spf.
for cheap eye creams I like Olay eye gel ($10).
Nivea aqua something or other.
I usually use Bioderma Sensibio as that is light enough and around $22 for 15ml.
I also really like the Vichy eye stick, it feels very refreshing and is also light.
For me cheaper eye products seem to work better, esp if they have few ingredients.
I've sampled a lot of high end eye products and most have too much fragrance and actives my skin does not tolerate. |

I have used Olay regenerist in the past and wasn't impressed with it at all. |

Yes my eyes tend to get crepey & baggy & these products have greatly improved the look. The brand was MD Skincare - then changed to Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare - products sold on this site. This eye cream is more like a gel. |

dear kpka...
the night eye cream does, but the day one works may be too dry for winter weathers... other than that, they absorb fine. I've been using them for years. |

I once heard you shouldn't use too heavy a cream for the eye area because it causes more wrinkles.
so anything light that glides on, like Dr. Nick Lowe's line eraser or an oil. |

Those of you who have tried PSF eye cream, can you compare it to shiseido anti wrinkle eye cream? |
