I know that copper peptides interferes with ascorbic acid, which is the type of vitamin c I use every night. Do other peptides affect ascorbic acid? Specifically matrixyl (Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4/3) and carnosine. They're both in the Olay Regenerist Serum which I'd like to also incorporate into my skincare routine.
Or I guess simply, does anyone use both the Regenerist serum and an ascorbic acid serum in their skincare routine?
Thanks! |

Hi,
It's the copper in there that reacts badly with the ascorbic acid, metal and ascorbic acid, bad combo together. Just use at opposite ends of the day. |
