Hi
I'm using Retin A for the first time, 0.025. I'm using it every other day as my skin was a little too irritated by daily use. I've found I really need to change my eyecream though. I was using Dermalogica multivitamin power firm, but what I need is pure moisturser for that area rather than the firming.
Retin A users, what do you use round the eyes after applying? |

Hi:
Would like to start using Retin-a for fine lines (43) and also to see if I can lighten some hyperpigmentation (freckles). Where do you guys order from? I can't get a prescription.
Thanks! |

Lacolora, your GP should be able to write you a script for Retin-A. I use Obagi Elastiderm eye cream. I just ordered Karin Herzog eye cream. Still trying to find my HG eye cream. |

I just started the Obagi NuDerm system 2 weeks ago and am using retin a 0.025 under my eye and follow with the Obagi elastiderm eye cream. I am starting to see some nice results in just the 2 weeks, the lines are decreasing a teeny bit and the area is soft and smooth. I am also looking for a source for the retin a without a script and someone suggested Alldaychemist, which does have it very cheap, although shipping is $25.
Does anyone know if you work up to s stronger strength of retin a under the eye or do you stay at the low dose? |

Hi Caris,
I use either jojoba or grape seed oil over the retin a that I apply under my eyes. Wait at least 30-45 minutes before applying the oil.
I know other forum members use other oils as well. Not sure which is better necessarily or just a matter of preference. |

Hi Caris,
The same as Kims here, I have been using jojoba oil or capsule of a mixture of vit. A and vit. E oil, only use the tretinoin every other night, wait a minimum of 30 minutes and apply the oil, and just started applying squalane oil as I ordered with a CP serum which I'm experimenting with too in the last few days, only a week and a half actually, too soon to say if the CP serum -the only change I've done in my schedule- is working or not, but I do like the feel of the squalane oil and the jojoba oil even for the morning, nice and moisturizing both and absorb well without causing the delicate eye area skin to swell. |
