Hi everyone!
Just wanted to know if anyone knows of some good natural body lotion that promote healing, smell nice and don't clog pores. I like to use things more on the natural side since I am covering myself in it.
I am using the cosmedix body products but they suck. I am also using the 302 face and Body Bar but its not very impressive.
If anything I will probably wait till Osmosis makes body products which they said they will. |

Skin Biology's Body Lotion. It contains Copper Peptides (CPs) and is great for repairing aged and sundamaged skin. SB calls their CPs "Skin Remodeling Copper Peptides - SRCP" and they do do that.
Besides the CPs, it has other ingredients like squalane, octyl-palmitate, and anti-oxidants to aid skin remodeling. It doesn't have a great scent to it (philisophical on the company's part - they don't like to add anything that would harm the skin), but it works at making your skin smoother and helping get rid of some wrinkles! (It has for me).
I also use their Suntanning Lotion, which is basically the Body Lotion with a little titanium dioxide in it for some sun protection. I use it for my everyday sunscreen and then I have that and a skin remodeling agent working together. It doesn't have a lot of TiO2 in it for extended sun exposure, but for everyday - it's nice. I'll use that in the morning and the body lotion at night.
Skin Bio also has CPs for the face and for treating scars - their stuff works great. |

FYI- Osmosis uses CPs in their products- the 1st generation ones (GHK-Cu). Dr Pickart of Skin Biology was the person who developed the GHK years ago. He went on to develop a 2nd generation CP that was less fragile than the GHK and sells that thru his Skin Biology company. He also offers the GHK in a few products, but it's fairly expensive. The 2nd gen ones work just as well and are less expensive.
The cool thing about the Suntanning Lotion is it has both the GHK and the 2nd gen CPs in it. |

I like Nadarra skin products. I am too new to post a link, but if you add thewww. to nadarra.org, you'll get there !!
During the summer months, I use the Nadarra body lotion as a hand and foot lotion, but in the cooler months, I switch to the hand cream. It is a high quality line that is quite reasonably priced. I started using the hand cream two winters ago and noticed a big difference in my hands. |

Maybe a silly question, but are CP:s natural?
I have read some about CP:a a year ago, interested in that and/or Retinol products as an anti-age routine. I can't quite remember why, but some sad that CP are a "heavy" ingredient, and not everyone can tolerate it, and that could be side effects to the use of CP:s? Do I have this completely wrong, have I mistaken it for something else I have read about...
Anyway, I'm also interested in a Good body routine, I have Never treated my skin other than my face, and it starts to show.. |

Yes, they are natural. From the Skin Biology website:
Quote: |
Skin Remodeling Copper Peptides, known as SRCPs, are naturally occurring complexes that rebuild skin, hair and nails by activating the natural renewal processes in your skin. Skin Biology's SRCPs have been proven safe and effective in over thirty leading universities and medical research institutes |
.
I wouldn't say CPs are a 'heavy' ingredient, but they are a strong one. You need to start slowly with them and build up to the stronger creams or serums. |
