I have been here a while and have tried so many different types of products. Recently, I was interested when I saw on television a story about Dead Sea Minerals and noted that Ahava products were mentioned.
I did a search on here but couldn't find any recent reviews on their skincare products. I'm interested in the following:
Cleansing Cream
Mud Exfoliator
Mud Mask for normal/dry skin
Smoothing moisturiser normal/dry
I managed to get some samples from another website so in the meantime before they arrive, has anyone got any feedback?
By the way, I am 32 with dry/combination skin and tend to have hormonal breakouts occasionally. |

Yes, I agree with you. I don't remember ever reading any reviews of AHAVA.
I am using Pure Spa Multi-Vitamin dry oil in Manderin-Cedarwood. It's fantastic and it is not a waste of my money. |

what are you talking about? ever hear about search option?
I am using AHAVA DERMUD intense hand cream, and foot creams - they are THE best. During winter, they actually the only ones that have a prolonged effect!
Have to mention that other AHAVA hand and foot creams (not the dermud ones) don't do nothing for me. |

I still agree with Nelly, there are not too many posts of AHAVA and they certainly did not standout due to the fact that a large group of people/members were interested in other brands. |

I tried the Ahava mud mask but didn't work on me, causing a bit breakout. But I tried another similar brand called Dead Sea Premier, its Miracle Noir Mask and Whitening mask are both nice, just not too easy to wash off. |

I do not know like the toner. Too rich, too thick! |

I have done a review of the Ahava hand & foot cream and then posted about the face cream.

I love their stuff and its reasonably priced for the face creams. |

I used both Mud Exfoliator and Mud Mask for normal/dry skin and i think they are both great products. I would definitely buy it again.
I used to use their other lines years ago, but they changed a lot of formulas. I was especially disappointed when they changed the formulas for both my favorite hand and feet creams. |

I just started using Ahava Essential Day Moisturizer for Combination Skin and really like it so far. Even though the combo formula (it also comes in normal and dry skin formulations) is a gel cream, i find it pretty moisturizing--it made the dry patches on my cheeks silky soft and my whole face feels plumped up. My mineral makeup applies much easier as a result. The cream does have silicones though, if anyone is avoiding that.
I became interested because it contains dead sea minerals and the claims sounded really wonderful for the skin, which I found on vitacost.com:

The AHAVA Osmoter™
A gift from nature, Dead Sea minerals are known to improve your skin's well-being and youthfulness.
The Osmoter™ is a unique blend of minerals contained in all AHAVA products. It optimizes cell metabolism, strengthens skin against UV damage, and significantly increases moisture to keep your skin looking young and supple. |
I also find it a great deal, 1.7 oz is only around $40. I bought mine on Vitacost since I was purchasing a bunch of other things, but if you buy on EDS, you get the forum discount, which makes it an even better deal. I use it at night since i only wash my face during my night shower and moisturize once a day.
Anyone else using any Ahava face products? |
