I don't think you need to make a brush cleaner. I either use a natural shampoo or Castile Soap to clean my brushes. |

Exactly! I use the same 2 possibilities for cleaning my brushes, also pat out excess water with a paper towel and dry flat. You don't want to rust the metal that holds the hairs. |

I am not sure what type of brushes you have. I have natural hair and sythetic. On the synthetic, I can use a deep cleaning wash such as Dr. Bonners full strength. I use synthetic face brushes for mineral makeup and I like to be sure they are clean.
I also highly recommend blot the water out of the brushes. I prefer to use a product called Brush Guards to hold the shape. You can purchase directly from the manufacturer or Coastal Scents.

Coastal Scents has quick shipping and also some great items for DIYer. |

Those are awesome Autumn, I check out a lot of MMU and general make up/brush sites and haven't seen those sold elsewhere. They have some nice prices on brushes, I am sooo tempted but I own too many as it is.
Thanks for posting the link, already bookmarked it! |
