La Mer was bought by the Estee Lauder company several years ago (like everything else in the dept. store Cometics-Land!), and their products are sold only through the La Mer counters. These being exclusive accounts, the counters are only found in very exclusive dept. stores. Example: in Canada, La Mer is only sold through the Holt Renfrew chain of department stores.
If it's La Mer that you seek, you might want to log-on to Lauder's site: www.elcompanies.com . However, if you're looking for effective skincare, it usually IS best to go with a professional product and a professional recommendation. So I'll have to agree with Magda! |

buwahahaha ... well, now I'M curious! I don't use CdlM all the time - but it's a nice go to for emergencies. Now I'll have to read up on Valmont. |
