Very good question, most people go through a tough period with Retin A alone at first. I wonder what the OP is attempting to accomplish with this combo since there isn't an issue with hyperpigmentation??? |

Dark Moon
What is your favorite antioxidant? Vit C? Can you use it twice a day? I thought I read somewhere on here to use under your Retin A.
Also, are you using another exfoliant? Trying to decide if I want to break down and get the Nu Derm. BUT, the wash seems harsh, do you really need a toner, don't want hydroquinone but I do want all the benefits that comes with Nu Derm.
Thanks!! |

I would not waste your money if you aren't going to use the entire system. And, if you don't have hyperpigmentation, then you don't need Nu Derm. Get some Retin A and a good sunscreen and use it every day. |

You don't need to add anything to Retin A for it to work, just patience, as it takes 6 months before changes even starting to be seen and 12 months of nightly use to get the best results.(The Blender FX that was recommended to you above is Arbutin, which is glucosylated hydroquinone.) |

This is what I am thinking.....Obagi C Wash, Obagi C 15%, Exfoderm, Sunscreen (day) then Obagi C 15% followed by Retin A (night).
What is the mildest Retin A.....my derm gave me Refissa but what about Retin A Micro or Renova. I appreciate your input since you are the "Obagi Queeen". BTW: I do have slight hyperpigmentation but do not want to use hydroquinone at this time. |

That is fine for the routine, InSweetTime. The RA alone may help for pigmentation, as well as the C, it just will usually take a long time and even then some people don't get results from just those for hyperpigmentation, but if yours is mild, it may work for you!
Refissa is 0.05%. Thhe micro comes in 0.1 and 0.04%. The micro 0.04% would be the lowest strength with that one, and the plain Retin A cream in the 0.025% would be the lowest strength of tretinoin cream. Refissa is in a moisturizing base, so it may be fine and not feel strong due to that. |

thank you!
But the shipping cost is too expensive, i am not in US or canada. It cost $44.99 for order over $200, if order under$200, the shipping cost will be more than $44.99. |
