After giving myself dry crusty, flaky skin trying to dry up some oil bumps with strong salycilic acid wipes and retin a. I was googling around for a remedy and came across the Erno Laszlo ritual of oil and mud soap with hot water. I didn't have those but I did have some jojoba oil and some black mud soap so followed the ritual (splashing with hot water) for oily skin as advised on the website and followed up with a swipe of Lancome Tonique Pure Focus and some kimberly sayer ultra light organic facial moisturiser. I think these steps are quite close to the Erno Laszlo program but with different (although compareable) products.
That was about 5 hours ago and I am so far impressed. My skin feels very balanced all the dryness is gone and only my forehead is a little oily not much though.
I think that the hot water splashing ritual is the important part and the website claims that this process stimulates collagen production, any thoughts on that? |
