Dear friends,
I am fairly new to this routine. I have ordered samples of the CE Ferulic Serum and Hydrating B5 Gel and have not received them as of yet. I also read that Blue Mallow HA Serum from GoW boosts the results of your Retin-A application. Just today I placed an order for the serum so I cannot speak for how well it works. I don't know what Blue Mallow is, but it does contain L-Carnosine which is an anti-aging silver bullet. I am very excited about trying the Blue Mallow Serum.
"A healing and hydrating blend of Blue Mallow and L-Carnosine, this serum is skin softening, anti-inflammatory, refreshing, emollient, anti-aging, and cell protecting."
It goes on to list the ingredients which are all very nice.
List of Ingredients
Distilled Water
- hydrating
- solvent
Blue Mallow Extract
- healing
- soothing
- protecting
L-Carnosine
- extends life of skin cells
- protects cells from oxidation-induced stress damage
- rejuvenates aging cells
- maintains cellular homeostasis
Hyaluronic Acid [bio-engineered]
- hydrating
- holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water
Leucidal
- preservative
- derived from radishes fermented with Leuconostoc kimchii
I am not big on organic products because I find they don't work very well for me. But, this has L-Carnosine which is the premiere in Anti-Aging and it was only $13.70, so how could I go wrong?
I am not seeing the results I am looking for as of yet. I used to have a beautiful complexion, and have lost that due to not taking care of my skin recently.
Please leave advice, comments, quesions, and concerns below. Thank you for your time.

I just learned that I should cleanse and tone, wait 20 minutes and apply Retin-A, then wait another 20 minutes and apply the HA Serum.
I am expecting beautiful results. |

Hi - I'm not familiar with the La Prairie products, but I would suggest you apply the SkinCeuticals CE right after washing. It's best applied to dry clean skin. The lotion may affect the PH and cause the CE to not be as effective. I would wait 15-20 minutes after the CE (if you can) and then use the B5 followed by the lotion and sunscreen.
GOW products are wonderful. I've not tried the Blue Mallow, but I've liked everything else I've used from there. And the prices are reasonable too. Hope this works for you! |
