| Has anyone noticed that people who are older tend to have shorter necks? Why is that so? |

And I also think your posture can get worse - and slumping shoulders will make your neck look shorter.
Yoga is so great at keeping our bodies flexible as we age. |

| It is my observation that osteoporosis and compression of the vertebrae (kyphosis) causes shortening of the spine as we age. This process affects the cervical vertebrae of the neck and hence the shorter appearance of the neck. |
