Okay, I know long name. But I absolutely love this product. I found it the other day while shopping at, yes, Walgreens, although I am sure you can find it at any major retailer/drug store, etc. I believe it was around $24.00 for a 1.7oz bottle. It claims to have "similar effects to a light chemical peel", so I was interested. It contains glycolic acid which is known to yield good results, correct? Anyways, it's a light, translucent gel-like formula that appears as though it has sparkles in it. Since it's 1.7oz, I use it very sparingly at night, about 10-15 minutes before I go to sleep. No tingling, no redness or discomfort. I wake up in the morning and my skin looks great. Can't talk about any long term benefits at this point, but I've used it nightly for about 5 days, and I can honestly say it's a product worth checking out. I don't own a lot of Olay products, and I haven't in the past, but this is definitely one that I might keep in my medicine cabinet for quite some time. Wanted to give you guys a heads up, and also ask if anyone else has used this product, and also what do you think of it? Thanks! |

I've not used it, but I was eyeing it recently. I was hesitating as I wasn't sure the glycolic percentage. I didn't see it on the Olay web site, just the ingredients. Glad to hear you like it, I may have to add it to my "to buy" list after all.
Here's the ingredient list from the Olay website:
water, glycerin, glycolic acid, sodium hydroxide, butylene glycol, hydroxyethylcellulose, propylene glycol, panthenol*, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4†, camellia sinensis leaf extract§, vitis vinifera (grape) seed extract, allantoin, peg-100 stearate, cellulose, xanthan gum, cellulose gum, benzyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, mica, iron oxides. *pro-vitamin b5, †amino-peptide, §green tea

Olay regenerist is endorsed by many dermatologists. I read about it in magazines that it works per these derms. |

I am a huge olay fan. Even thought I use many very top-dollar products/serums. I always have an olay night cream of sorts in my arsenal. Comparing them to top-dollar creams, they give every bit as much and sometimes more. |

Shasta, thank you for finding the ingredients, I hadn't even looked at them yet.
And thanks to you all for responding and saying that you are fans of Olay. This "elixir" caught my eye, and I am happy I purchased it. Usually I wouldn't spend over 20$ on barely 2 ounces of a product, but I am thrilled about this one. It seems like it's actually, night by night, smoothing out my skin, and also lightening some of my minor "dark spots" & freckling. It also glides onto my skin so well, and sinks in almost immediately.
I just love sharing products that I love. It's not very common that I try something new and rave about it. There are so many promises in skincare products that don't deliver. Wanted you guys to maybe check this one out! |

I saw this ad and got interested. My babysitter has really really bad skin. I think she needs chemical peel but she can't afford it, so if this works, it would be really a much cheaper way for her. She asked me to pick one up for her to try.
Recently I got a sample from platinum skincare of a glycolic acid 15% + hyarulonic acid serum. I wonder if this is the same as the Regenerist Night Serum since the Night Serum also contains glycolic acid. |

I went to 2 CVS stores, and they do not yet carry this product. When asked (they have a huge poster advertising it in front of the store though), they said they don't have it yet because it's a new product.
Where did you find in walgreens? Which state? |

One more thing...it does say it is fragrance free. Yippee! I do have to try this once I use up the stuff I'm currently using. |

Have been using this for 2 weeks and have great results... I'm using this in conjuncation with regenerist serum and lotion in the morning.. I do however get small white heads.. But they go away with alittle exfoliation..also there is a 20 dollar rebate that you can print from the olay website .... 20 off 50 worth of olay or proctor and gamble items... So I end up getting 3 products for 45.00 which is not bad at all... And they are great products highly recommend them...
Skin type oily, with old acne marks and some sun damage.. Good luck guys |
