Aung San Suu Kyi looks so GREAT for her age, 65... and she does not seem like the person who would have gone under the knife ( and she has been imprisoned on and off for decades!!!)
This is a very recent video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2005loNRYY |

Daler i can't get the video to show on my computer ...but she's always been an absolute beauty...inside and out..an absolutely physically stunning.. truly inconceivabley brave woman, imo. (didn't she at one point win the Nobel Peace Prize..and there was an uproar in her home country since she was a prisoner at the time .....not sure about that though)
anyway when i was considering taking hormonal therapy for beauty back in my early 50's she was a role model for me of a beauty who did not take hormones to maintain her beauty ..(and actually i still think about her for this purpose..among many other inspirational decisions she's made and actions she's taken) |

I too am amazed by how youthfull she looks. I originally thought that her being imprisoned may have shielded her skin from the sun and that she had obviously benefited. However, she has been under house arrest and could still use the garden etc....so doubt its that.
I think she must have very good genes combined with an unbreakable spirit! |

I think at least part of it has to do with following one's purpose in life, being true to who you are, and selflessly trying to contribute to the greater good I've always noticed such people are more youthful and vigorous as they age...perhaps it could be ascribed to a sort of spiritual health and happiness... |

I agree. The more i discover about life, the more i believe how your mental state effects everything so profoundly. How else can you explain the placebo effect? |
