Sigma....so glad you got your machine finally working. (You probably thought we were pulling your leg about the big zap you can get when set on high ) It is disappointing to get a new "toy" and have it not work properly. Success! |

Thank you so much.
I have not yet tried to use it, just tested and it was felt even without anything on the skin. Big difference!
I was so not looking forward to mailing it back, and now hopefully I would not need to. |

It's my experience that microcurrent feels stronger without a gel - but that doesn't mean that it's working better. Without a gel, the current will not penetrate down into the dermis and the gel is also meant to take away the bulk of the unpleasant prickly feel of the current. |

Thanks for the help guys. I emailed Jennifer at the original link at the beginning of the thread, and am pretending to be a interested buyer, when in reality, I have ordered the machine off ebay. Basically I found the online manual less than decent and am asking a few "pre buy" questions. From what I have read on this forum she is probably leading me on, more than I am leading her on. Anyway apparently she is afraid of straight answers. My doctor told me I need a 590nm yellow LED for my rosacea, and this machine is said to provide that....but then the Low, medium and high settings come into play, and I assume that these intensity changes, change the nm of the light. For example: Yellow:Low:560nm Yellow:Medium:590nm Yellow:High:620. This is purely an example and I have no idea which intensity setting would provide the 590nm that was specifically "perscribed" to me in a sense. Again, any help would be very much appreciated. |

I have had time to try out my 7 colour LED but have some questions.
When using the lights do I use each colour individually? For example 3 mins on each part of the face using the red, then the green, then the blue then the yellow etc? Or should I alternate the colours on different days?
There is an option on the machine where it flashes quickly through each colour would this work?
I am a bit bewildered as it came with no instructions although I did read the Manual but that doesn't actually tell you "how to use it"
Any suggestions? |

Hey there Allychan,
I do not claim to be an expert but I actually brought a single handheld RED LED awhile back for about $350 off an infomercial and for the price tag I got alot of information in the booklet which I received with it. In it the instructions outlined that both the pulse (flashing) and continuous lights are crucial. First use the continuous Red LED to "prepare the skin", 30 seconds on each area of the face. and then use the pulse light on 4 minutes on each area of the face.
Also I only had to get a new product because my old handheld was only Red and my derm told me I needed yellow for my rosacea. Also, he said, if I only had normal, somewhat dull skin (wanted skin to look better) then I would only really need a red LED and not the other 6 colours. So i recommend
1)Turn on machine
2) Turn on each paddle (To High)
3)Make sure light is red
4) put in continuous mode and use 30 seconds on each sector of your face.
5) Change to pulse mode and hold still on face for each section for 4 minutes (still red)
The End.
Hope this helped.
P.S Doctors say that you can never have too much LED time. So 8 minutes on each section won't hurt...but at the same time it may not help either, as it said in my booklet. Also leave 3-4 days between treatments.

This is what I bought with very little directions. I feel like an idiot buying this. It doesn't say anything in the directions regarding microcurrent. Can some one guide me? Are the metal prongs the microcurrent?

It says microcurrent in the description, can you contact the seller for more information? I am sure someone with one will chime in, but it appears very similar to the OP's picture. |

One of those sellers? I can't stand when they pull that! It really looks just like the picture on the first page of the thread. Somebody will help I am sure. |

FRodo,
that is what we all bought, I believe.
These metals prongs are what would conduct electricity; the top knob is for micro-current; the bottom ones - to manage LEDs.

Thanks, now I think I can turn it on. When doing the microcurrent do you just move around the area you are treating? If so, for how long? Is it 3 minutes for the LED just like the lightstim? My apoligies (sp) for all the questions. I am sure there will be more. |

I sat down to use mine last night and heard a zapping crackling noise. Now the machine does not work at all. I have contacted the ebay seller I bought it from and they asked me to take the machine apart because they suspect a loose part! I am not an electrician but I am pretty sure it was an electrical malfunction. I am very hesitant to use it again. I have a safety switch to my house but I'd be risking electrocution if I tried to fix it. I paid using Paypal so thankfully I am covered until I reach a resolution with the seller. I only got to use mine a half dozen times before it blew. May just invest in a Lightstim |

I have been on this forum before. Is there something wrong?? I posted this same topic last week but not one person helped with my questions. I've never had any post ignored here before. I am really disappointed.
Well, I will try one more time because I usually get great results here but if no one wants to talk with me after this post I will not share the results about how this Microcurrent 7 colored LED machine worked for me.
I spent $560 plus shipping and tax = $650 for this product
I had hoped to have more experienced people on the board give me their opinion before spending money but since receiving no feedback I purchased it anyway because as I compared it to the other machines on this board it seemed like a far superior product to me. Especially for the price and with all the colors of LED's it comes with.
I found out I was able to purchase a professional version, the exact same that they sell to estheticians.
Microcurrent/LED light treatment works together...
Microcurrent from 10 to 320 μa mimics the natural electrical current in the body. It reeducates the underlying muscle, lift, tones and sculpt the face while stimulating collagen and elastin and ATP for a non-surgical face-lift.
LED Light stimulates collagen and elastin and activates enzymes, such as catalase, diminishes unnecessary color amines in tissues, speeds up compounding glycogen, protein, and fibrin and increases tissue’s metabolism, relaxes skin and ligaments. It soften thrombus, diminishes bloat ness, discolorations, removes fattiness, reduces lines and wrinkles, eliminate pouch and black eye orbit, whitens, brightens and protects the skin.
Coherent LED light at frequencies between 470 nano meters and 640 nano meters has been proven to…
1. Red (650 nm): Promotes blood circulation and stimulates formation of collagen and elastin to reduce lines and wrinkles, heals xerodermia(dry and roughness) and exuviations(abnormal shedding) of the skin.
2. Blue (470 nm): Relaxes the skin, kills bacteria treats Acne and Rosacea. It corrects comedogenic skin—eliminates acne bacillus, whelk, tightens sagging skin and reduces winkles.
3. Green (520nm): Reduces discolorations including freckles, normalizes sebaceous glands, reduces black heads and sores, balances moisture.
4. Purple (400 nm): Speeds up skin renewal, reduces lines and wrinkles.
5. Orange (590 nm): Reduces scars, decomposes pigment and helps with lymphatic drainage.
6. Turquoise (500 nm): Strengthens and calms the skin, releases stress and helps cure sunburn.
7. White (400-700 nm): Helps the skin to absorb nutrients and have anti-aging effects.
I met an esthitician last week the only one in my area who uses this machine. I paid her to give me treatment before I purchased it and I really what it did for my face and skin.
The company does not require you to be a professional esthetician to buy the professional version.
It will come with an instructional DVD for the machine and also a full set of their skin care line which will also come with it's own instructional DVD.
It will take 2-3 weeks for the actual machine to arrive at my door but the skin care line should arrive in 2-3 business days.
I don't work for this company or any beauty company. I am a regular person trying to stop the clock/gravity from wreaking havoc on my face. |
After seeing this post I followed this thread and bought this device for my mom and she never used it. I have tried the unit and it works well. Because of my many devices I own I don't need an extra one and am selling this unit. If you are interested send me a message. I pd 188.00 for it on ebay and it was new...will sell for less. One aspect that this unit has that is different from other devices is the micro-current works while at the same time you are doing a light treatment. |

I want to get this unit because it is salon quality - better that home devices. I like the fact of all the different lights to choose from and the micro current- 2 in one device and I can use it while watching TV and I only have to use it once a week. It is cheaper than the baby quasar MD $700. I feel confident I could use it with all the info I found on the internet. Please give me your opinions and experiences and results. I know that you have to use this device as well as all other devices for a few months to reap the benefits. I don't own any gadgets or devices so I think this one would be good to start with because I could use it long term until something better comes along. wo |

Bump! Just wondering if anyone is dazzled by this machine or not. I've had my eye on it for a while but I'm frankly afraid of the price. It's so cheap! Are the LEDs strong or not? The machine looks nice, though. Results, please if anyone has them- good or bad! |

Does anyone who bought this machine have any opinions to share? I would love to know how it's going (and whether I should buy one, of course ) |
