I went to the Invisible Scars website and even found a testimonial from a woman with melasma! I wasn't expecting that a scar reduction product would have any effect on melasma, so now, I'm intrigued. Here's what she said:
"My melasma was due (I believe) to long term birth control (10 years) and sun exposure. It got worse AFTER pregnancy, and increased or became more stubborn with age. Unfortunately I had IPL (Intense Pulse Light) treatment or laser for the melasma that made my minor problem a major one. It's been kind of a nightmare! But InviCible has been the BEST thing I've tried and it's only been about a month... I highly recommend it for melasma. I use this product twice daily, under sunscreen and makeup, works like a charm! Thanks InviCible...!

I'm not that impressed with the before/after. I'll tell you why....to me it looks like the before is of a fresh scar and the after could be achieved w/o his lotion. Scars fade to white/improve dramatically w/in a yr usually on their own.
Liquid silicone is know to improve scars. It just seems to me that he really hasn't developed anything new.
Melasma and post inflammatory pigmentation are not treated with the same ingredients. |

This product was reviewed by Sarah on Truth in Aging. Note the warning near the end of the review.
Ingredients:
Silicone (dimethicone, dimethicone crosspolymer), vitamin C (ascorbic acid, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate), probiosyn-4 (helianthus annuus [sunflower] seed oil unsaponifiables, carthamus tinctorius [safflower] seed oil, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, stearyl glycyrrhetinate [licorice extract]
