I used Strivectin for 2 months and saw no results. Not even softer skin. I ended up using it as a hand cream just so I could finish the tube. And the smell.....not my cup of tea.

So far I have only used the Alphaderma for 2 days, but am already seeing results, so I think it is definitely worth the money.

Sorry, but I have never used Strivectin only ADCE. Honestly, I would not be without this product in my daily skincare routine.

Hi Elmo! I don't even think these two treatments belong in the same comparative ring - I've used both and think they are very different from one another. They are intensely different in terms of ingredient base, texture, and smell - and, IMHO can produce good or bad results depending on the user (no, kidding pudoodles....)
SV - very rich, *very* annoying peppermint scent
ADCE - extremely light almost thick serum-like texture - absolutely no scent that I can detect (goes on like a dream)
SV - takes a few weeks - but I saw dramatic results around the eye area and overall *tremendous* improvement in skin texture
ADCE - saw immediate dramatic firming results!! I nearly fell off my chair - but not rich enough in texture for me -- definitely needed a moisturizer on top - after a few weeks my skin was just getting way too dry
SV - not supposed to use around the eyes (but I did..)
ADCE - can use around the eyes no problemo!
If you want an immediate lift (with cumulative benefits) and you don't have dry skin - then I'd go with ADCE and the Prep (that instant firming result is *intoxicating*)....I'm using the ADCE on top of my vc serum just on the neck area - with the SV as my neck cream...for me, it doesn't get any better than that! For my skin, ADCE falls into the category of serum, while the SV is very much a heavy cream. I think they are both great but very different products - even though they are so often talked about in the same vein. Very different skins will likely go for one or the other.

StriVectin didn't do anything good for my skin, but some others like it. Maybe because it's a relatively thick cream, people with dry skin find it moisturizing. I still have some left and use it on my neck occasionally but I won't bother reordering it. I have combination skin and it clogged my pores.

Alphaderma, on the other hand, showed immediate results and after trying the 5-day sample kit, I've ordered the Skin Prep, ADCE and Okusil. The Okusil was drying, but I think I was using too much and plan to use it more sparingly and just around the orbital bones - not on the fleshier parts of my eye area. For me, StriVectin didn't live up to the hype, but Alphaderma renewed my faith!

Unfortunately, StriVectin did nothing for the fine lines around my eyes. The cream seemed sticky and the smell was bothersome. Thankfully I kept my receipt for the product and was able to return it.

After three days of my Alpha Derma CE regimen, I am overwhelmingly pleased. My fine lines are responding beautifully and the product is absorbed almost immediately (no scent).

I am tempted to give up the retinol product (Avage) that I use every other night due to the fantastic results from the AlphaDerma. I will see how it goes......

I think StriVectin gets a lot of flack. I used it for my stretch marks and saw a great improvement. It has a tough regimen to follow of 3 times a day - otherwise it doesn't show the results so quick and ppl give up.

I have not used StriVectin for wrinkles - cause I have none(yet). Same with Alphaderma CE.

thanks all for your replies and voting on the poll, and a special thanks to pudoodles for the nice detailed comparison.

I hope that more people who have tried both products can reply here and also vote so all of us can see the results of the poll.

This will also help all the new people who are trying to choose between the 2 products.

The reason i made a poll on these 2 products is because after doing a lot of research on the best anti-aging products, many told me to either go with SV or ADCE, so it seems that these are the 2 most famous or better products in this category.
