I'm looking for a good foundation for parts of my face.
I don't want to apply it all over my face. I just want to get rid of the redness around my nose and chin before I apply powder.
My skin's a combination skin & will tend to get really oily by the end of the day if I have heavy foundation on.
Any suggestions? |

Have you considered using just a good concealer for your skin type and blending well prior to applying your powder? |

Try cle de peau cream foundation SPF 18! It's works perfect for combination skin.
You can use it as a concealer but it's ligher than most concealers. The magic is it can stay for 10 hours |

Have you tried a stick foundation? I like Bobbi Brown's stick foundation. You can spot treat areas of your face that need coverage without applying full face. |

I recently started using Bobbi Brown's Luminous Foundation and really like it. I have been a faithful MMU user for the last number of years, but I'm not getting the lasting covering from it. I still try to stick to MMU on weekends if I'm only out for a few hours ... but when I need more coverage that lasts, BB's Luminous is a great option. |

I am using Bobbi Brown's Luminous Foundation too. Pros: it is moisturizing for skin and long lasting.
Cons: It's very good to me in winter, but in summer it's a bit oily.
and yes, it is expensive!
Also, I think Missha's bb cream is also a good alternative for foundation if you just need a light coverage:) |

Clinique Redness Solution. I got a sample in a magazine, loved it, and bought it! I apply it to my nose and cheeks where I have broken caps and my skin looks great with it on. I can't see the red from the caps when I am wearing it. I apply a very small amount and it works well for me. |

Katy, do you use a primer under the foundation - or just use it on its own? My skin has really improved with all the new skincare products I've tried. While it still leans towards dry, it isn't anywhere near as dry as it was. I'm having to cut out some of the products I use ... I am still playing, but haven't got my regime figured out yet. |

I really love this foundation also. I also like Cle de Peau's powder foundation. It's so creamy it doesn't even feel like a powder. |

I use the foundation with cream. It is very good for skin and use to hide marks of the skin. |
