I don't want to dry out my eyelids so they get crepey looking. The rest of my skin is normal to dry, but I just can't keep the most water-proof eyeliner in place. Any suggestions for making my own blotting powder? Unless someone knows of a really good and cheap store product, it seems to me that this would be a good DIY project. |

I have the same problem so I am very curious to see what people might suggest. I like dark smoky eyes, but the shadow creases from the oil and sort of all slides together. |

It's not DIY recipe, but you could check the ingredients and go from there?

OMG this this is the key for no raccoon eyes for me! Ever since middle school and my sad attempts at eyeliner i had these dreaded raccoon eyes going on. Even after learning how to apply makeup properly I still got those smudges of liner or mascara. This thing is awesome! I got it in the undercover pots and it makes my concealer stay for hours and nothing smudges for at least 8 hours. After that there is a little smudge on the outer corner but no big a little wipe and its good to go for a couple more hours =D yay! no raccoon eyes haha I love saying that raccoon eyes. |

You might want to try Palladio rice powder. Sephora apparently sells it for $5, and I think Sally's too. Its triple milled so super fine and it gets great reviews as a translucent setting powder.
I'd love to try it, but I heard its not available in Canada. |
