Hi,
Any feedback on Gentle Cream Exfoliator?? How come I dont see this in EDS product line for dermalogica (as an individual product) but it's included in one of the kits? |

Hi! This is my alltime fav product in the Dermalogica line... I have been through a few tubes of this and will continue to do so.
It's a chemical action exfoliant rather than a scrub with grains. It doesn't smell particularly wonderful... slightly medicinal I guess...and it does slightly sting for a few mins when you put it on ( onto washed and dried skin like a masque, basically treat it like a masque, because that is what it is..you dont work it on or scrub with it) but as it dries that sensation stops. It's not bad enough to want to take it off!
After 10-15 min, rinse it off throroughly and moisturise.
What I love about it is the results. I was not expecting it to make a difference the first time and for me.. it really does! I am left with extremely smooth, tighter, firmer looking, even toned ( not bad eh?) skin for a good couple of days afterwards. So using it maybe 2-3 times a week is good.
I know not everyone is the same ... I have read the odd review where people dont seem to think it has made much difference, but for me it does and it is much more dramatic than the Daily Microfoliant on my skin. I like that one too... but the Gentle Cream Exfoliant ..I loveeeeeee.
Even if I changed brands completely, I would still use Gentle Cream Exfoliant.
I have a combo/oily skin that can be a little sensitive by the way.
Cant wait to see how you find it works for you! Good luck! |

Hi there
Ditto muzzies review. I use Gentle Cream Exfoliant and its absolutely amazing. When you wash it off your skin looks (and feels) absolutely amazing.
I always get mine off ebay because it works out to being half the price that it is in the UK (pretty extortionate at £27!).
Definetly check ebay out.

One last word of caution: the Gentle Cream Exfoliant was too harsh on my skin, and left it raw and red. However, I already use a glycolic acid product on my skin under my moisturizer, so maybe I got an overdose? My boyfriend, who has dry, robust skin, it gives really nice results; soft, glowing skin. |

Hey all,
So last night I tried this exfoliant, and I must say, although it didnt give me dramatic effects , it did feel great on my skin. I didnt even feel the sting (or does that mean it didnt work?). I have sensitive skin, too, but the cream was very good on me, no itchiness, no rashes, and my skin felt supple to the touch.
I have lots of congested pores on my cheeks, amazingly, it "seemed" to smoothen out a bit anyway.
I'll use this for a couple more times and then give my true judgement.
So far, so good. |

Hi WinglessButterfly... ahh that's good news!!
Glad you liked it... and wow, no sting even.
Skin is so individual isn't it?
It's scary that one person's holy grail can make another person's skin feel red raw!
(that is a real shame)
Hope you get more good results as you continue to use it...maybe it will be more gradual for you... good luck! |

I bought a “travel-size” of the GCE about a month ago, after receiving a sample of it from EDS, at the same time that I bought the daily micro exfoliant. I have to say that I reach for the DME more often than the GCE during the week, but on weekends when I want to pamper myself I apply the GCE wait the allotted time and rinse, then immediately apply the Multi-Vitamin Recovery Masque (I think that’s what it’s called) and my skin just looks amazing afterwards. I think GCE has really helped to brighten up my complexion and help fade some red blotches on my face left from some old zit scars. The only thing bad that I noticed about the GCE was if I used it too often, I’d get some dry, scaly patches near my nose but I have sensitive skin so maybe that’s just me....
Anyway, if you really want to give your skin a treat, try the GCE followed by the M-VRM! I bet you’ll be amazed, too! |

Hmm...Thank you for that, actually, the lady at the store recommended the Hydrating Mask after the GCE, but I declined, as I also purchased the Anti-Bac Cooling Mask (I currently have lots of breakouts). After putting that (after Exfoliating), my skin felt dry.
I think I need a trip back there and get either the hydrating or the M-VRM.
Thanks for the post! |

Hi all,
I also find the gentle exfoliant cream works better on me than the micro-exfoliant.

Hi Everyone,
I've tried and loved the DME but never the GCE, after the positive reviews this sounds like something that I'll be adding to my routine. Thanks for the advice.
