I just whipped up my very first batch of Vitamin C Serum. I used one of Kassie's recipes... the one with Vitamin E & Jojoba Oil.
I plan to use it in the morning and continue using my CPs and Retin A at night. My question is, do I need to wait 30 minutes after cleansing my face in the morning before I apply tha Vitamin C Serum? I use Neutrogena Fresh Face Cleanser in the light blue bottle. I know I've read that one must wait approx. 20-30 for the ph in the skin to return to normal (at least I think that's the reason) before applying products. So, do I continue with this wait time with the serum as I do with my CPs at night? Thank you. |

I'd like to know in which order, too. I want to add some Mismo Vitamin A-C-E serum in oil to my routine. I normally put CPs on in the AM after washing, then wait about 10 min. before using squalane as a moisturizer. Since the Mismo seems to be similar to squalane I thought I could eliminate an extra step and use that instead.
There seems to be conflicting information about CPs and C with some saying use together (but I don't remember which came first or how long to wait in between), but others saying keep CPs and C twelve hours apart. I'd like to experiment on half my face but don't want to waste product. |
