I have been making this serum and loving it. I was thinking of switching out the jojoba oil with argan oil. Would that work? I have read that argan oil is not the most stable oil, but really want to try it and thought this serum might work well for that.
Has anyone tried that? Or had experience with using Argan oil on their skin in general? |

The Argan although it goes off quickly is still more stable than LAA, I think you should be able to switch it for the Johoba with out a problem. The one thing to remember is Jojoba acts like an oil but is actually a liquid wax ester. Maybe try it with half Jojoba and half Argan?
I like the Argan oil quite a lot, my skin is very normal so I don't have breakouts. I am pretty sure some who have that issue have broken out with it while others didn't. |

Thank you Dark Moon-I think I will try the half and half.
What exactly is a wax ester?
My skin changes it's mind daily on what kind it is-dry, sensitive, combination, oily, etc. |

I am going to copy and paste a blurb and a link, it's easier to be honest. Basically although Jojoba acts just like an oil and is close to our skin's natural sebum chemically it is a wax ester.

Ok, I finally made it. It is really nice with the part argan oil and part jojoba oil. We'll see what is like in a few week of use and if I still love it.
