I purchased both Solar Protective Moisturizer and the Body Block.
I love both products and find that the Body Block is just more moisturizing than the facial one.
However, I am very surprised that even the zinc oxide is 19%, both of them are CLEARLY transparent; I can't see any trace of white cast.
How come? Does it have any zinc oxide there?
Pardon me if you think I am too skeptical.
Anyone working in a lab to run a test if these 2 sunscreens can block UVA & UVB? |

Haha, excellent question! I haven't got my Devita yet, but before all the recommendations from so many people on here, I didn't think that no white cast from these ingredients would be possible. But I trust the people here to have done their homework, and that the product is proven & effective, so I'm excited to purchase! |

I was thrilled to find a sunscreen that I would actually wear every day. Up until the recommendations for Devita, I only wore sunscreen when I knew I was going to be outside for extended periods of times.
I can't speak to your concerns, but know that when I've worn it I haven't gotten any sun burn at all - for my fair skin that means that something worked ! |

There is also a product review of Devita here:

Yes to some it may seem too good to be true. Don't worry- it really does have all that zinc! As long as you don't sweat it off /wipe it off or come into contact with water it really will protect you.
For me it's not "too good to be true" because I actually see some negatives- it has no water resistance at all, so I don't feel safe enough with it for summer. I'm just about to try the reformulated version but the original version stung my eyes so that was a huge negative. |

If I'm going to be sitting in the sun, I'll probably still use my Neutrogena containing the Helioplex (sp?) ... but for day to day sunscreen, Devita is a great option. |

I think Devita is very nice. I can't attest to the sunscreen capability, but it seems to blend in well and no white cast. Also it's not oily. I always go out with a hat and try to block the sun with paper or whatever I can find. |
