Hi,
Just wondering if any one can advise on pigmentaton around the eyes.
I have pretty pale skin, I had IPL x 3 treatments about 4 months with really good results. But they can't get too close to the eye area, and I think that now that the rest of my face is quite clear this actually makes the area the eyes more noticable!
Especially right under the eyes. They are not dark circles, a few wrinkes maybe. I am 48 so a few wrinkles don't bother unduly.
I am thinking of trying CP's and have ordered the premier eyes to try that. I have been using P & R cream for about 2+ months.
any other suggestions would be appreciated, thanks..x |

Hi Bermie I have a couple of natural remedies that I have used for this exact same problem for lightening of pigmentation on my face and at the side of my eyes.
Like you I have fair skin and find this quite annoying if I want to go make-up free, as it was quite noticeable and made me feel a little self conscious.
Mix a little fresh cream with some Lemon Juice and apply this to the area morning and night for approx 5 minutes then rinse off with warm water and pat dry. I do this for one week day and night then twice a week for a month. I did see a big difference in the intensity and colour of the pigmentation after the first week, much to my amazement.
Another natural remedy you can try that also works really well not just for pigmentation but also puffy eyes and dark circles.
Grab some fresh Basil Leaves and place them in a bowl with a little lemon juice and boiled water that you have let cool. Place in the fridge and wait for it to cool down. Apply as needed with your eyes closed and relax for 5-10 minutes. Make sure you rinse your eyes well so you don't get any juice in them.
If your not into natural remedies you could also try a retinol cream or serum, as I found that this worked for pigmentation I had that was quite pesky to remove.
Hope this helps. DD |
