I've used SkinBiology's CPs followed by their Squalane in the AM and their LacSal (lactic and salicylic acids) in the PM on my face, neck and back of hands. I have seen some improvement in the last year and eight months.
I wanted to kick things up a notch so I got a sample of Mismo's Vitamin ACE serum and have used it at night only on the right side of my face and neck and back of right hand (I think I started the first week of Dec.) replacing the LacSal. I continue with my regular morning routine as before. Nothing dramatic between the two sides except the texture of the Mismo side isn't quite as smooth. I'm guessing that is because I haven't used the LacSal. I'd like to add that back in but when and how? Alternate the LacSal and vitamin serum every other night or layer them (how)?
I'll probably order more of the Mismo because it's good value for money and use it until it's gone, which might even be six months or longer. If there is no change, I will probably replace it with Cosmetic Skin Solutions vitamin C later.
Then, this might be a year later, compare the SkinBiology side with the added C side. If there is no discernible difference, I will just continue with SkinBiology because that is much cheaper, so why throw money away if there is not a much better result?
At least, this is my plan! |

| I have ordered Cosmetic Skin Solutions CE Ferrulic or whatever it's called. This time I'll use it on the opposite side of my face and see what happens, with no LacSal. I'll return to using LacSal on the side of my face where I've been using the Mismo now and see if there is an improvement. Mismo is history. If there is no improvement after a few months, I'll just ditch the vitamin serums and continue with the CPs and LacSal. |
