I ordered some tooth products from a company called Dentalogica.
It sounds similar to Dermalogica, but it is a company that makes fancy tooth whitening products.
I placed an order for some lip balms as the flavors sounded good and they had a coupon code online.
I paid for my items with my Visa card and my order went through.
Also, I printed my receipt just in case as I hate digging through email to find one receipt.
a few weeks later I'm still waiting for my order.
I emailed a couple times and got no response.
Then I decided to log onto my account there and it said my order was canceled due to non-payment??
I really don't see how this was possible when I actually received my Visa bill with the charges for my order and even confirmed with Visa by phone that my items were paid for.
I took Visa's advice and emailed again and got no response.
In the end I did get a refund from Visa.
That is the good thing with credit cards,if you have any issues with an item you buy they are always helpful!
Just wanted to post my experience with this company.
Luckily my credit card co is very helpful.
I have had 2 issues this year (the Dentalogica one) and secondly had my furnace fixed and was given some unauthorized charges (I had my receipt and settled that one). |

Hi OttawaShopper!
Thanks for the headsup on this company. I went onto the internet just now and went to Dentalogica (from my office computer) and I received the following message from my company's web filter:
ACCESS DENIED:
The URL you are accessing has been blocked by the Barracuda Web Filter because it contains spyware. The name of the spyware is: Exploit.Osa.pl
Hopefully, this spyware at the Dentalogica website didn't retrieve any info. from your computer.
I recently ordered a teeth whitening kit from a company called Extreme Pearly Whites (I posted on this in another thread). I ordered 2 kits a few weeks apart (one for me and one for my husband now). I believe they are out of New York and not sure if they ship to Canada. I received the packages within 2 days. I can't tell you if the product is any good yet, as we haven't used them and we are planning on starting the kits next Tuesday. I will report back once we try it out.
