im 21 and have had broken caps since I was about 15..? Nothing extreme until I was about 18 but temperatures and products on the skin, among other things can really aggravate the skin. when i'm warm they dilate..and i make sure not to even so much as rub at my skin when my skin is in this state. When my vessels are back to normal is when i do any of my skincare routines or makeup application..this can save your skin from a lot of potential damage. I haven't had any new caps in the past couple of years do to me being extremely gentle. I notice new ones that are temporary when I get a pimple..ill notice tiny ones around them..but once its healed within a day the caps are gone. I noticed using an antioxidant has really helped my skintone in terms of broken caps and reddness. It prevents pollutants and irritants in the air from aggravating skin. Also, sunscreen..which you probably are aware of. |
