I used Blue Peel 15% and 21%. It was very expensive but a very effective.
I bought TCA 21% form Make up Artist's Choice and used twice. First time I got some icing, redness and some mild peeling. Second time I had some redness and IT IS ALL!
I thought the Blue Peel and 21% TCA are very similar. Are they not? |

I think there is more to it than just the percents of the TCA. With the blue peel, they customize the layers for your skin, can watch to see how deep it penetrates, etc. This is just my opinion. I have never had the blue peel, but I have used the TCA from MUAC and I didn't notice much, if any, improvement. |

I was curious, how many layers of TCA did you apply? I use like 3 layers or so ( TCA 20% with Ph of 1 to 1.2 or so) and I peel heavily, for almost a week everytime I do it. I dont do it often, may be once in 2 months though.

I had 3 layers. Interesting, but I did not feel extreme burn either.
With Blue Peel I started peel on the 5-th day! Total downtime was 10 days.
I have 12.5% peels every months, MUAC radiance peels - every week, 21% peel once in 3-4 months. I can tolerate 50% glycolic peel without any pain and do not peel either.
Maybe I got used to peels? |

I think that because you are doing lots of peels, there is nothing much left for TCA to remove! Also, in my opinion, over using the peels may be not be that good, skin needs some time to recover. |
