Hi everyone!
I need help. My sister is 16yo and has normal/combination acne prone skin. She wants to order proactive. A lot of her friends are using it and have clear skin. But I heard from others that proactive can be very drying. What products can you suggest for acne prone skin that are not too drying for normal skin?

I hear/read that Proactiv works for some and not for others. I work with a gal who likes it but have a customer it didn't work for, she has bad adult acne.

She might do well as my customer, on Epiderms' tea tree bar (good for acne & rosacea) /porcelain (oily skin not as drying as tea tree can be), Epidermx, derma butter/camellia oil. My customer told me after trying Proactiv, Retin A , and many others this was the only thing that worked. I even asked her one Sat (I see her at the gym on wknds)if it was me? or did her face look better? and she said it was clearing UP. Just a thought. Very Happy

Iv'e got a similar skin type combo with occasional blemishes that also dries easily and i've just started using the Yonka line which is great and not drying in the least. The gel nettoyant cleanser and lotion for normal/dry skin is great! I've tried Dermalogica but felt it left my skin a litle tight and sqeaky feeling that was with both the essential cleansing lotion and special cleansing gel, the multi-active toner was great though! I found their moisturisers either too light with the active moist and too heavy with the skin smoothing cream. Hope this is of some help Smile

I use Estee lauder Daywear plus at the momment which is good at keeping away dryness without being too heavy but I'm looking at trying the Yonka moisturisers when I've got the money to do so. Creme Pg, Creme 15 or pamplemousse for normal/dry skin.
