| I was recently introduced to Kerastase hair products, in particular the Bain Miroir shampoo, chroma reflect conditioner and chroma thermique heat protectent. I went from blonde to red and loved how it helped my color last and I have constantly received complements on my shiny hair. Unfortunately, I seem to have developed an allergy as my ears and neck have broken out in a rash. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it the shampoo or all products from this line and/or brand? I think it may be the salicylic acid in the shampoo?? Anyway, I am now in the market for a shampoo that will be just as gentle on my color and still give may hair a lot of shine. Any recommendations or experiences? Once the rash goes away, I am going to introduce these products back into use. One at a time, starting with the thermal protectant (week 1), followed by the conditioner (week 2) and last the shampoo (since I think it is the culprit). I will post if I discover there is a single product causing my rash or if it is the whole line. |

I use their pink products and don't have any issues. This is surprising, actually, as do tend to have skin sensitivities to quite a lot of products.
