I have done a series of peels, both lactic acid and TCA, the last 6 months and am wondering if repeated peels causes the skin to take on a "waxy" look. This is what I have read online. |

I wonder if that explains the look of many celebs accused of having botox. |

I have a neighbor that gets a lot of peels. Her skin has a very unnatural waxy look to it. It looks peculiar. |

It took over a year for my skin to not look really really shiny after my TCA/Jessner/phenol peel episode. It looks good now though but if I were to do peels I would wait for that look to subside before doing another. |

Actually that overuse of TCA causes the waxy look is what I read Demi Moore's facialist Terri Lawton said last year in Allure.
