I noticed there're quite a few stem cell products out there. It's mostly a serum at 1oz. While some the price seems reasonable, some are outrageous. So here I'm wondering, I do wanna try this product that the beauty market is raving about, the new technology with stem cells that will re-stimulate your cells.... etc... etc... 
But which one should I use? I know GOW has one which is around $27US for 1oz. while another company UNT Skincare sells it for $59.99US for the same size. But of course, the UNT one has peptides, HA, and lipids in it. So yeh, it's hard to make the decision. Also, not sure if it'll produce the same results. |

I have tried the 3lab product. they said they had apply stem cell on it.
I found the H serum and M cream is quite good.
However they are sooo expensive.
I also tried the wweyecream for my darkcircle and dry lines; however it is not useful at all !! |

I am also looking or a good stem cell serum.

any suggestions, I am in Australia, its hard when you find something you like and then you can't buy online or they dont ship 
I was also thinking of Isomers? There's also an Australia brand called Mirenesse? There products look really nice but I am sick of spending money on stuff and then not liking it. Its always better to get some recommendations. |

There are other stem cell products (ones that use human stem cell growth media) but they're either expensive or don't ship to Australia, or both. I'm quite happy with this product - no miracles, but my skin seems to like it and has calmed right down since I've been using it. |

Actually this is one of the skincare ranges that the new clinic I went to about the (stitch lift)carry.
I have seen it before. There is just so many different products/serums?
I have heard about Catalyst before.
I think this Stemcell will definitely be on my short list. |

Are you referring to Osmosis? If so, how much are they charging for it. The Osmosis products are available in Australia under other brand names and are sold through doctor's clinics, but they are much more expensive. |

u should check out emerge labs they have a nice stem cell serum. I've tried at metamorphosis day spa in NYC they had a gilt city promotion.

Emerge Labs Stem Cell Serum uses the Apple Stem Cells. The latest batch of stem cell serums use the actual media that human stem cells are grown in. |

I think that's a major issue to look into before buying any, I find it hard to swallow that plant derived stem cells can do diddly for ours. I think it's a lot of marketing hype (thinking CK's special melon) Really a special Apple?  |

It's not the actual cells but an extract from the medium they are grown in, putting it very simply. Can they penetrate deep enough to do what is claimed, good question! |

You are not applying the stem cells physically to your skin. The serums contain the media (the stuff) that human stem cells are grown in - those stem cells leach into the media and it is those growth factors that are used in the serums.
The above is my very unscientific explanation of the process and I don't pretend to really understand the whole thing at all!

According to Isomer's site the Stem Genesis products use apple stem cells not human stem cells in their formulations. Here is the link to the facial serum.

I am really keen to try some Skinmedica products. I want to try the eye serum. Which one are you refering to? the Essential or the Recovery serum? They are pretty expensive and hard to get from Australa. |

Call me crazy, but I think that applying 'stem cells' to the skin, would be as effective as applying blood to the skin, and hoping it gets into the circulatory system..
Now injecting stem cells, is quite another story...
In the mean time I'll just keep putting that entire apple, (stem and all), into my smoothies..  ) |

But the serums don't actually contain stem cells as I pointed out in my previous post. IMO the name is really a misnomer. I believe that these serums actually contain growth factors.
I can't explain it all because I don't really know what I'm talking about - but if you look into the research that the International Stem Cell Organisation is doing with their product Lifeline you'll get more information. |

I still haven't make up my mind on a stem cell serum!!!
There seems to be so many different ones, and vary quite alot in prices Is the Osmosis stem cell any colour?? I am hearing alot of the Osmosis products being dark colouring and staining. |

Well, my latest skincare fave is the Korean brand History of Whoo. I found out that there is a Whoo counter inside the large Korean supermarket near us & went to go visit. It turns out that History of Whoo is owned by the Korean conglomerate LG, which owns many other Korean cosmetic brands. Okay, so while I was there the sales associate was very generous & gave me a ton of samples from an LG owned brand called O Hui. O Hui's "The First" line uses stem cells & is based on stem cell research. Apparently, they have partnered with a biotech company called CHA bio & diostech to create this line. Well, for the past week I've taken a break from using Whoo & have been using O Hui The First. The whole concept of using stem cells to stimulate your own seems a bit gimmicky, but hey, the samples were free. *Wow!*
One of the things I'm always working on is getting rid of this hyperpigmentation spots on my cheeks. They have definitely gotten lighter in the past month that I've been using the Whoo: Seul lightening line. But they seem to have gotten even lighter since I've been using the O Hui samples (I have samples of the entire line) & putting the Whoo "Whitening Kit" on the spots themselves. It's only been a week! I probably shouldn't be mixing lines so I know exactly what is doing the work, but if you're interested in stem cells in skincare, this is definitely a line worth checking out.
Except that this O Hui The First is like, unbelievably expensive. History of Whoo is also unbelievably expensive, but I tip I read from calorbline on the History of Whoo thread here on EDS was to go to Ebay & buy samples of the equivalent full sized amounts, which is much, much cheaper than buying the product itself (despite the beautiful packaging, which I can forego.) I believe that "The First Revolution Essence" is the workhorse of the program. Here's a link:
