what do you gals reckon to this? just a snippet from the web. I've used the pore-fection and that was good. Maybe one of our beauty specialists could comment on the ingredients anything that promises instanst and I'm hooked
"Skin rejuvenation routines should help to firm the skin, provide antioxidants, rescue and prevent all sorts of further aging skin changes. They are wonderful and indispensible.
They are also used on a long term basis and results subtly build over months of use. But let“s face it, everyone still needs a little quick fix now and then.
In addition to what your daily anti-aging regimen provides your skin, a new class of products can instantly relax away fine wrinkle lines, providing that instant gratification we all desire!" |

Hi Eve!
Not to get off topic, but I see you said you used the DermaDoctor Picture Porefect Pore Minimizing Solution. I was wondering what you thought of it? Does it minimize the appearance of large pores? Thanks! |

hi, no problem, well it's not 'cosmetic' and by that I mean a silicone based product that 'hides' pores. It contains retinol and the like to slough out your pores so they appear less noticeable and it does work (for me) I like a few of their own brand items but when I add on the shipping AND customs charge it puts me off making regular purchases.
EDS is a great place although I haven't quite found a matching product here. Have to check the ingredients and ask admin if they can suggest something.
Hope that helps! |

Dont know about this one. The only research I've seen on muscle relaxants was done with acetyl hexapeptide as the relaxing ingredients. Haven't heard of GABA or portulaca a muscle relaxants. Have you found any clinical research? Do you know if they will send samples out? |

Last night on HSN, they were showing this "instant Avotox" or something like that which instantly smoothed wrinkles and lines. Its a temporary thing but really looked effective. Is this like what you were mentioning or something entirely different? I was going to post a new thread asking if anyone has every used this stuff. I don't know how many hours it lasts or if it lasts until you wash it off. Ever heard of it??? If it does all it says it does, how fun on a night out or a reunion where people haven't seen you in 20 years! |

I can't be sure because I didn't have time to look it up, but I believe Dr Brandt uses GABA in his "Crease Release" product. Haven't used it either so I can't say if it works or not. I think it's really expensive though.

the only way I've taken GABA is as a food supplement when I was weight training heavy, makes you flush, like when you've been out in the cold and walk in to a warm room. |

Hi Eve!
I was doing a little research on the internet with regard to DERMAdoctor Immobile Lines Instant Topical Relaxer and found at their website with a Question/Answer area where Dr. Kunin answers questions regarding products: Here is the link to the Question/Answer area. Go down to green area where it says ASK DERMAdoctor, and type in the word "immobile" and hit "search button" and you will get all questions/answers relating to that product:

Cheers didn't think to check that out.
"I am not familiar with the ingredient Argerilene" I DO find that hard to believe, surely she would know??
From what I'm reading, the principle is basically the same, inhibiting muscle/transmitter movement, though this product claims to have an instant effect. |

Hi Eve!
I also found it odd that a medical doctor would not be familiar with what Argerilene is. Of course I just recently found out myself that Acetyl Hexapeptide 3 that is in my Relax-A-Line is also called Argerilene (thanks to the the wonderful members of this forum).
I may go to Nordstrom's this weekend and see if I can get a jar of the Immobile Lines and try it out. My gosh, am I buying another skincare product! I am addicted! |

Yes, not knowing about acetyl hexapeptide but knowing about palmitoyl pentapeptides and oligo-peptides....That's reaching, for sure. I noticed that the CellularSkinRx.com site (where I get the relaxaline from)has a 1/2oz. size now. $24. I guess for people who don't want to take the "big plunge" and go for the 1oz. at $36. |

Portulaca is a type of flower - I believe it contains acetyl-hexapeptide 3. It's what is in that new product by Avon. Well, it's not that new...it came out this past summer I believe. |

Ouch! I just read the ingredients on this cream & it contains Eugenol. That's the clove oil that the dentist uses to numb your gum before he gives you the big shot! I wonder if the numbing effect helps to contribute to the frozen feeling. Wouldn't want to get that in my eyes though! If anyone tries this, let us know! |

I know some people were using mouthwash with clove in it to 'plump' their lips |
