Cellular Skin Rx Eye Bright Treatment Serum - Good / Bad ??

I was considering purchasing Celluar Skin Rx Eye Bright Treatment Serum. Has anyone tried this? If so, what were your results?

I am looking for a serum targeted for the eye area to help firm and reduce any fine lines that I can use along with my eye cream. I am pleased with my eye cream but feel it is time to add a little extra firming help.

If you have had poor results with Eye Bright, is there another eye serum that you have had good results with?

I'm a big Cellularskin-rx fan--I think their products include high quality active ingredients and are well priced. Having said that, EyeBright was one of the few CSRx products I have tried that didn't work for me. I know that some folks here have had better results, though.

It contains vitamin c. I think it's same as 12% vitamin c serum. I think it could be use instead.

Here are the acitive ingredients listed on their website, it seems contain no significant vitamin C

Active Ingredients that Work™: Oxido Reductases, Soy Peptides, Yeast Protein, Hydrolyzed Rice Bran Extract, Hyaluronic Acid

Other Ingredients: Purified Water

According to their description, I think this product do more jobs on hydrating and protecting rather than firming:

CSRx does have an excellent 12 percent C serum, but the Eyebright doesn't contain vitamin C itself. I used a bottle of the Eyebright and didn't notice a reduction in dark circles myself. But I think I have major tear-trough issues that overwhelm my dark circles. Perhaps it is better for those with dark circles but no real tear trough problems.

Thanks for the input. It doesn't sound like anyone has had any great results with this one. I guess I will continue my search for the perfect eye serum.

Is there such a thing as a perfect eye serum...I wonder

This is the first time I post in this forum, and I have been received so much helpful information already. Thank you all very much. Today I have also just received my first CSR Eye bright serum and C+F firming serum, really can't wait to try them out. In addition, I also have purchased the cellcosmet cellular eye contour cream which is the third bottle I have used, and I think this eye cream is the best all over eye cream ever. Although it is very expensive, it really works! The bottle contains 30 ml which can be last more than 6 months. So it is still very good value for the money you spend.

Have you found a way to hide/treat those tear trough problems with any eye cream/gel/serum or concealer yet?

Sadly, no. I think a filler is probably the only real cure. A good concealer over eye cream does help, as does an eyeglass frame that obscures the trough area a bit!

Yea I thought so. Any suggestions on what concealer will be best to hide these imperfections? I am looking into trying the Too Faced concealer; thought it might help a bit because of its hyaluronic spheres.

I use Cle de Peau's stick concealer or RMS Beauty's jar concealer, but any good concelaer should work if it matches your skin well. Method of application is important as well. I apply with a tiny, firm, flat brush used like an ink stamp across the area to be concealed, then roll my finger over each area to blend and set it. A dusting of powder and it's as good as I can get it.

I've heard Cleau de Pau can be expensive; I'll check it out though. Thanks for the tips. Setting concealer with a powder is a trick I learned recently. I always used to set it with my powder foundation, and that never quite worked well and am looking into good dusting setting powders at the moment. I am thinking of trying the one by Estee Lauder. Do recommend some from your experience if you find they're worthwhile and make the concealer stay in place longer.

I won't lie-Cle de Peau is expensive, but it lasts a long, long time unless you slather it all over your face. Used sparingly, as I do, a tube will last about 2 to 3 years. So I think of it as an investment...sort of. Laughing

I don't think it matters a lot which powder you use because it is used so lightly-as long as it is finely milled. I personally use Laura Mercier, but any decent powder will do. I wouldn't use mineral makeup or powdered foundation because I think they might be too heavy and tend to make the concealer go cakey.

Good luck with this--I used to be pretty frustrated with undereye concealor till I learned the stamp-and-roll trick. Now my application is much more successful.

One more thing-check out the Easy Eyes thread in the Products Review section. If your eye trough problem is more of an eyebag issue, you might find that product helpful.
