Can anyone tell me if it's ok to add a small amount of L-Ascorbic Acid to Skinceuticals B5 Gel to make my own C serum please?
I've been using just LAA, distilled water and a bit of glycerin but prefer the texture of the B5 gel .... not sure if the ph would be right though or even if those ingredients would be compatible. |

There is a good reason skinceuticals dont sell it with l-ascorbic already in it. B5 degrades in acid ph, so no I wouldn't be a great idea. |
