I've asked EDS to carry Jenulence but they haven't yet. Someone on this forum recommended this mineral makeup company so I got a lot of their samples and it has made a big difference as to whether or not I want to purchase. I'm planning to buy their foundation/concealer at this sale (below). I'm torn between two different shades so I'll just take my chances. From their email newsletter:
"Starting today, March 28th, save 17% on any order of $29 or more. This sale will last only 3 days and will expire on Thursday, March 31, 2011. To get discount use coupon code MARCH11 on the checkout.
"Save even more with our FREE shipping offer! Any US order of $70 and more will receive FREE shipping! No coupon needed for this discount, just choose free shipping option.

Since I couldn't decide on the foundation shade, I ordered two and two different sized sifter jars so I can mix up my own shade(s). Then I got a flocked sponge, a flat head buffer brush and their Luscious Grand kabuki brush so when I wash my other kabuki brush, which takes a while to dry, I'll have a spare.
Total order using promo code MARCH11 was $40.85 but with the discount it only cost me $37.47.
It's really worth ordering their small sample jars because they last forever, which is why it took me so long to place my first order -- I was having fun with all the samples. |

I don't think Jenulence sells wholesale.
I haven't bought anything from them in a long time but they do have nice products. |

Softskin: would you please post some info on this product. I never heard about this brand, is it a wellknown brand in north America? |

Do you mean that in buying other brands on EDS I will be getting wholesale prices? I have a $50 gift cert from this site that I need to use.
queenielau718, I've never used mineral makeup before and had heard bad things about it, that it was difficult to apply, makes your face break out, etc. As I mentioned, someone on this forum said she'd tried all the different brands of MMU and Jenulence was the best, all natural, so I ordered a lot of samples to play with. It's so quick and easy to apply and you use such a tiny amount that it lasts forever. |

No. Only companies buy at wholesale. Then they markup to sell to us. |

Jenulence only sells online as far as I know. |

I only found little review, here is one from makeupalley:
Some of the great things about this company is the fact that they allow sample baggies for about $1.00 per tiny zippy bag with barely there samples inside. I love their shipping fees. Only about $3.95 for shipping and the package comes nicely wrapped and cushioned in a timely manner.
Here are some reasons why I do not like Jenulence Mineral Makekup powder:
1. after hearing all the raves on youtube , I thought I'd give it a try. In order for this makeup to look good on you, you'll have to have nearly perfect skin. So in that sense, this mineral is not competitive enough compares to all the other minerals i've tried on the market. it has virtually zero coverage. if you want more coverage you can try their concealer foundation. Unfortunately I broke out within 2 days of using it. I normally do not even break out and I haven't done anything different with foods or skin care routine. I stopped using it for a week, and then try using it again to see if it's the makeup or not. Again I broke out with huge cysts when I normally do not even break out. Even though they listed their makeup ingredients as very basic, I always wonder if their secrecite mica may have been chemically treated to cause adverse reaction for me.
2. they customer service is very poor. they sent me the wrong product and i emailed them 2x following up again the second week with no response. watch out for the customer service. I just don't feel that this is an honest business practice when they ignore a customer for sending the wrong product.
3. here is how their minerals perform. It very dry and flaky accentuating weird lines that I didn't even have to begin with. I was using EM and didn't have such problem with a less expensive mineral brand. The color is nice and it does stay. however they break me out and accentuate flakiness. it just looks hideous. I thought my skin look better without the makeup on.
my conclusion: i've tried at least 20 different mineral brands and I would not consider purchasing from this company again due to poor customer service, high price, incompatible mineral ingredients with my skin, poor texture, and poor coverage . the concealer foundation has more coverage but it's texture is horrible. just a big disappointment over all. I am starting to wonder if these girls on youtube were paid for their advertisement on youtube. I know I ran into several lemons minerals starting with bare escentual that broke me out like a blizzard. every body claim to have clean ingredients yet it's breaking people out like hell. I think many of these companies are not disclosing what kind of chemicals these naturally occurring mineral may have been were tampered with. Based on my past experience with tons of mineral products i have tried, simple ingredients such as mica, titanium oxide, zinc, iron has never made me break out before.
Therefore, I will not take the risk; and I found Priori mineral makeup is very good so far.
However I am still playing with the application and with different combination of makeup base. |

Its really not OK to fully copy some one's review and not give them credit for it. You might want to ask the mod's to revise your post for you. |

I think I'll give this one a shot. I tried Jane Iredale, but it seems to break me out and cause me to get even oilier! Not sure why that is... Does this make up have spf? |

I have the foundation/concealer. The first time I tried it, I used too much and looked like a performer in Kabuki Theater. Now, I just barely dip my brush in and first dot it on my red chin and cheek area, then brush it thinly over the middle part of my face. It doesn't accentuate wrinkles, pores and lines any more than any other foundations I've tried in the past. I have problems with all of them! But this is reasonably priced and because you use so little it lasts forever. It's so quick to apply, which is a plus for me.
By late afternoon, I do use my fingertips to smooth it out a bit because I have any oily T zone. By that time, the powder has turned into a creamy consistency. I also like the fact that it protects my face from the sun.
I still continue with my skincare routine hoping that someday my skin won't need any foundation at all! |

Makepalley user is "eatmyshort". It seems she does not like MMU in general.

I own several full sizes of MMU including Jenulence. I bought the smaller travel size and then later the larger full size years ago. I bought the concealer formula. It works well as a concealer. If using as a foundation you need to 1) correct match. Very critical with a full coverage formula. 2) small amount 3) proper brush
If applied heavily it will look like a mask. I really did not like other products from the company. |
