I am new to the forum, and was hoping you all could offer some advice. I am turning 25 this month and I want to make sure I am doing everything in my power to fight the ageing process.
Currently I use:
Day:Vitamin C Serum (Darphin)
REN's Rose Ultra Moisture Serum
REN's moisture recharge day cream
La-Roche Posay sunscreen with mexoryl
Night:Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Caudalie Night Infusion Cream
As you may have guessed, I have dry skin. It is also sensitive and redness prone. I am thinking I should add a retinol into my routine. What would you all recommend? I would prefer an over-the-counter option.
Thanks for your help! |

I think retinol is the only thing you need to add in there especially if your current routine isn't causing any problems. There is one OTC product that starts with a "T" but the name has escaped me for the moment... But if you want to order online Paula's Choice has an antioxidant serum that contains retinol. Otherwise, you may want to look into a prescription one |

Green Cream which comes in strengths #3 #6 and #9 can all be purchesed here at EDS. they are 3% 6% and 9% respectivly.
I believe NCN skin care sells 1% as well as 2%.
Those are the strongest OTC products that I know of. |

What % retinol would you all recommend? I have just a couple fine lines on my forehead and the texture on my cheeks is a bit rough. I was thinking of trying Avene Retrinal, but maybe I should try Neutrogena Healthy Skin Night Cream? I want to see results, but I also don't want to irritate my skin with too high a concentration. |

The R+F ANTI-AGE Regimen is a comprehensive skincare system that layers powerful cosmetic ingredients and proven peptide technology to visibly firm skin and reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles and enlarged pores. Of course you don’t have to take my word for it…this system was featured on the Today Show as a “Must Have Anti-Aging Product for 2011.” Remember the best wrinkle is the one you never get. |
