I had a Micro Laser Peel three weeks ago from tomorrow and I still have redness marks on my left side of my face like this _____ but it's going down the face and on the forehead, scattered.
What is the best treatment for this?
Time was the only thing that helped when I had redness the last time I got the procedure. We went deeper this time (50 microns instead of 40), so I know it will take longer to heal.
I used Aquaphor for a day and a half and then switched to Biafine. I was told last time that I used Aquaphor too long and didn't get my skin a chance to heal. So, I stopped wearing the Aquaphor earlier and used the Biafine instead and my skin felt much better. (I'm so oily, so I can't bear the feel of oily substances on my face.)
I have heard on this board that Emu oil and Tamanu oil are good for reducing redness after the peel. It's been three weeks, so I think it's soon enough to try those suggestions. I hope they won't break me out though.
It's not like these red marks are permanent, right? I am hoping that with time and advice from y'all that I can get these red marks faded and see the results of my laser peel! Thanks. |

I would try Emu Oil - it is recommended for burns. Time is going to be the big healer. You could also try some Lucas Paw Paw Ointment at night. |

There are gels for laser skin resurfacing which helps reduce redness. |
