Several girls on the forum have had good results with Janson-Becketts Couperose Cream (1.5 oz.)
Astringent and freshening action reduces the appearance of spider veins and broken capillaries on the face.
JB also has a lotion for the legs but the Couperose Cream is made for the face.
The link for the review for leg lotion is:

How do you tell if what you have is Couperose? I have little tiny tiny red vessels on the sides of my nose, but you can only tell they are veins with a magnified mirror. What the hell IS that??? From afar it only appears that my face has a pinkish tone/redness to it. |

Couperose is the name of the cream...not the condition. The problem people are talking about is spider veins on the face. Spider veins on the face are either red or a bluish color. Most people complain about them on the sides of the nostrils. Some people have them on their cheeks. It is important if you have them to use tepid water (not hot or real cold) when cleaning your face. Real hot or cold weather also irritates them. The Couperose cream is designed to help minimize the veins or get rid of them. Spider veins are also called broken capillaries and we also can get them on our legs.
The red vessels on the sides of your nose are probably the start of broken capillaries. |

I actually sell a Couperose cream but have no feedback on it yet so not sure what the verdict is....I have a couple of customers who have told me that Epidermx has helped broken caps. |

Couperose is another name for broken capillaries. I never heard of broken calillaries referred to as Couperose so did a web search.
Couperose Skin
Couperose is a condition where redness appears due to the presence of small, dilated red blood vessels visible on the face. Couperose occurs due to poor elasticity of the capillary walls.
What is Couperose Skin?
Normally, when there is a sudden rush of blood to the skin, capillaries expand to receive the increase of blood, then contract and return to normalcy. In a weakened state of elasticity, however, capillaries will expand, but do not contract and return to their normal state. This results in dilated capillaries with lingering blood cells, making them appear defined and red on the skin’s surface.
Couperose skin can be aggravated by excessive use of hot and cold water on skin, blushing, spicy foods, alcohol, cigarettes, hot & spicy foods, and sun; anything that causes blood to rush to the face. |

How can Epidermx reduce the apperiance of broken capillaries? I got some broken capillaries by getting to much crystal peeling. I'm using the PTR power K every night and when I wake up in the morning I get a real bright and even face with reduced spider veins. But then I come home at night and look at the mirror I can see a uneven skin. Whats going on??? Anyone else who are experiancing same outcome with the product?. I dont want to use it in the morning also as I'm using sc vit.20 in the a.m. and dont want to aggreviate my skin by using to much vit.c |

Personally I would never use microdermabrasion on facial veins. I was told point blank at the salon I worked in that they would not touch me with the machine. That is just my personal opinion from my experience in the spa. I think it makes the veins worse. |

hi, all I can tell is what I had customers email me and tell me. They were concerned it would make their broken caps worse, but in fact, it helped them! I have to admit I was surprised even thought corporate told me it would help but when 2 of my customers emailed me and one was a friend, I was a believer!
I would just use the Epidermx like a treatment and massage it over the area you need improvement on, not vigariously but steady. You can email me for an Epidermx sample to try out first. I don't know how long it took for each gal to see results so I can say what the sample will do for you. hth deb |

I have to agree with Sassyred's customers.
My feeling is that the broken capilleries on the sides of my nose are dimming with the Epidermx.
Maybe it's because the skin is thickening. |

...or maybe it's the improved penetration of the other treatments. |
