I am 61 years old with fairly perfect skin. But, face it, getting older is going to catch up with me. I started the Obagi system and have been on it for 6 days. The main things that I was told to prevent redness, flaking, etc. is
#1..use only a very small amount of product. Using more that what is prescribed will not make the product work better. #2..use moist hands to apply the product so the product doesn't get absorbed into your hands/fingers. I have yet to have any adverse effects. Also, and this is my opinion, if you've exposed your skin to extreme sun for years, you can't expect miracles overnight. |

redness, flaking and peeling is expected it means the product is working and removing all the impurities.
your right using to much of the product doesn't help because it can only penerate the skin layer so much. using to much product is just wasting it |
