What does everyone think about UV exposure/protection when you have a career in the airline industry? Would you age faster even with sunscreen precautions and topical/internal treatments?
Has anyone had any experiences or have family members in this field?
I can just imagine it must be hard for Pilots and supporting hands to keep up with their beauty regimens with the constant traveling. |

I have 2 pilots in my life, one a family member who's been a commercial pilot for more than 20 years and the other a friend who's been a commercial pilot for over 25 years. Both do very little to their skin beyond cleanse and moisturise, neither wear sunscreen and both have beautiful skin.
I also know a number of stewards and stewardesses and all have excellent skin. |

| I'm a flight attendant and I've been flying long haul for 23 years. The biggest skin problem for all cabin crew is dehydration! You can apply moisturizer as much as like and it will never be enough! Your skin still feels like a dry prune when you land. Generally speaking, it's part of my airlines' policy to have high standard of grooming standards, so skin care and appearance goes hand in hand with the job. |
