Hi everyone!
I just started using nucelles mandelic acid 10% serum bc of all the amazing reviews I have read. I use it once a day but its making my skin peel and flake, how long does this last? Also, I have small white spots under my eyes so I put a little nucelle on those spots but now it looks like my under eye skin is super dry and wrinkly even though I moisturize. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated |

I've been using Nucelle serum for around 6 months- not every day though- maybe 4 times a week, usually at night.
But before that I was using some Neostrata toner w 8% glycolic and sometimes was also using a 10% vitamin C lotion by Neostrata.
so maybe your skin is not used to the acids?
My skin did not flake from it at all, but I do not use Nucelle often- right now maybe 2x a week- I usually use it more if my skin seems like it is going to break out.
but it is so humid here I am using it at night now, esp since I have 2 "awful" blemishes to get rid of (prob from the humidity here and +40 weather...)
So I don't know maybe use the product less???
Also just remembered Nucelle makes a eye cream and in the last Beauty Cache of skincarerx they gave away the full size tube of it.
I would have not tried that eye cream if it was not for that.
I find for a cream with some acids I can actually tolerate it.
it is one of the few creams w acids I have been able to use in the eye area, the other being a Bioelements one.
So maybe for the eye area try the Nucelle eye cream instead. i think it is only 2% acids though...so for most people would not be strong at all.
But for me who has a very extremely sensitive eye area it is fine so far and I would consider buying the eye cream when I run out. |

I agree with Ottawa Shopper and also think the Nucelle 10% everyday is too much for your skin to handle. Cut back application to every other day and see if it improves the situation. Great reviews from other users remain just that. Your own skin might not need that much exfoliation. |
