I was wondering if anybody has any experience doing Jessner's peel at home. I bought a Jessner's (15% lactic, 15% salycilic, 15% resorcinol) + TCA (20%) kit a while ago, but can't afford the downtime for TCA right now. I never did jessner's alone and wondering what type of peeling I would get just from that peel. I read you do get peeling/flaking but was wondering if it is the same type of peeling you would get from a TCA peel or more like a flaky peel over a week (something you wouldn't worry too much about being in public). I did a very mild Jessner's peel today but it had to be very superficial because I didn't feel too much stinging. I too 1tsp jess + 2tsp water. I would assume that would give a 3.5% lactic, salycilic, resorcinol peel. From the peel today it seems weak. Perhaps too weak. So I was thinking of a 50/50 to get a 7.5% concentration. If the peeling/flaking isn't too severe from peoples experience I could just use the 15%. Just looking for feedback if anybody has or uses Jessners. |
