I wanted to repost this without a poll. I suffer from Perioral Dermatitis and have used creams from my doctor that have not helped or have only made it worse. I also suffer from yeast infections due to my monthly cycle so I began taking Azo Yeast Pills. My yeast infections cleared up instantly but I also noticed a difference in my dermatitis rash. After a few days it was completely gone. No itching, bumps, or redness. Once my yeast infections cleared up I stopped taking Azo Yeast and lo and behold my rash on my face returned. I took Azo Yeast again and after 2 days it was gone. I have been taking Azo Yeast every day now for almost two years and have not had problems with my dermatitis. If I skip a few days of Azo my rash begins to appear again but as soon as I start taking it again it goes away. I just wanted to share this with everyone because I haven't heard anyone mention Azo Yeast as a treatment for this irritating condition. It worked miracles for me so hopefully it'll help other sufferers out there as well. I would start out by taking 2 or 3 pills the first couple days and then change to 1 a day everyday to keep the rash at bay. I noticed a difference the next morning but it may be different for everyone. You can buy Azo Yeast in almost any store but I find it to be cheapest at Target and Walmart for less than 7 dollars. I really advise you to try it at least. You really have nothing to lose. Men can even take it as well since it's a probiotic. If you try it, let us know how it worked for you. Good luck!

it is a homeopathic treatment with mistletoe and something like bonneset (sp?). I googled it. While I think anti fungals are great for perioral dematitis, it is the first time I have ever heard of anyone using this product for it. Will keep in mind.

Hi abbyteacher, thanks so much for the tip! I've been suffering from a bad case of seborrheic dermatitis for the last few months, and I took your advice about the Azo yeast. It's only been 4 days, but I've seen a drastic improvement in my skin - I'm so excited! I think it might take a little longer to get rid of it completely, but I'm amazed at how well the Azo has worked. Are you still using it, or did you find that you were eventually able to wean off of it?

Thanks again! Very Happy
