Hi, I am certain there is a thread somewhere on this forum in regards to Retin A and such, but I couldn't seem to find it....Soooo basically, as some of you know I use Karin Herzogs Oxygen line and will not be stopping it, but I am semi interested in the Retin A, but have some questions.
Firstly, what brand/product is the best, most effective for mild scarring and fine lines?
Secondly, is it okay to use Retin A with Oxygen products? If I do Oxygen in the pm and retin a in the am (or opposite) |

I would alternate nights at first (or RA just every 3rd night if you're sensitive), and then once you're used to RA, do RA pm and Oxygen am. Sunlight deactivates RA, plus RA makes skin more vulnerable to sun (at least in the beginning), so using it at night and sunscreen during the day is good. |

I suggest starting off with a low percentage retin-a like 0.025% this way your skin can get used to it. You should be able to get a prescription through your doctor, also make sure to apply a layer of hydrating serum prior to retin-a. |

i actually started with .05 and found my .1 to harsh and my skin never worked it's way up to tolerating it.
with the .05 you can always skip days in between. |
