I would be so pleased and grateful if anyone that has had success with removing/substantially improving atrophic (indented) scars resulting from acne, chickenpox, wounds, etc would be so kind as to tell us some of their details.
Atrophic scars are any indented scars including ice-pick (pitted) scars, rolling scars, box-car (crater) scars, scarred pores (orange peel texture), etc.
1.) Please tell us what topicals, procedures, self-treatments you utilized including dietary routines and nutritional supplements that were utilized.
2.) If it is possible to estimate the duration of time spent on removing your scars, it would be much appreciated.
3.) If you could indicate the degree of improvement on a scale from 0 (no improvement) to 100% (complete eradication), that would be great.
I can't thank you enough for taking the time to read this message and hopefully take part in this thread. Your testimonies will give innumerable people hope and inspiration and that is an invaluable gift.
Looking forward to reading about your successful scar removal endeavors! |

That's good for ideas.
I was hoping to hear of individual success stories if anyone is willing to share.
Thanks |

In past threads people kept on bringing up a copper peptide-specific forum where users detailed their experiences with skin remodeling. I forget the name of the forum, but it shouldn't be hard to find. I think its on the most popular brand's website. |

Mine improved greatly with dermarolling. Not gone, mind you, but improved. I don't have any icepick scars, but I have a few boxcar scars, both on forehead and my right cheek. The one on my cheek is still there, not much improvement. The ones on my forehead showed a really nice filling in. I used a .5 mm dermaroller I got on ebay. No numbing cream, .5 isn't really that hardcore. The places with the depressed scars did bleed a little each time. No improvement on raised scars (big one on my chin). I am pleased with the results enough that they no longer bother me. |

that's great you got some improvement with a .5. glad those don't bother you anymore. awesome.
i've had some improvement with multiple 25% tca peels and dermasandings. i've also communicated with a few people online who've seen improvement with repeated tca peels and others who have had improvement from a combo of strong at-home exfoliation, retin-a/taz, and camellia oil (not necessarily silkia which did have a lot of fake posts) over the course of a year plus. |
