Which base is the best for combination, blemish-prone skin? Gel, cream or micro?
My forehead and nose get quite oily but everywhere else is dry. Do people ever use two different kinds of bases (e.g. gel for the oily areas and cream for the drier areas)?
I know that micro is designed specifically for blemish-prone skin, but would this be hydrating enough for the drier areas?
Also, how many of you felt that short contact method was necessary when you were first starting out? |

I had similar peeling from a Refissa sample .05% (cream) and Tretinoin micro gel .025%. I think you just have to stick with anything you use for a few weeks, period. My undereyes look a bit scary now so I'm hoping it's temporary. I only use it Mon-Wed-Fri. |

So I read on acne.org that the cream can be comedogenic to blemish-prone people because it contains isopropyl mystirate. Can anyone confirm this? |

I'd say either the gel or micro. The cream base can clog pores if you are prone. It does contain IM. |
