With changes in the weather patterns, I seem to be using lip balm almost everyday.

When I was younger I didn't wear any lipstick or balm. But as I've gotten older, I find I need the extra color, plus my lips are soooo dry all the time. I put it on at least once an hour. I guess your lips get "addicted" to it.

I've probably only ever used lip balm a dozen times in my life (41 years so far), and that was when I was on Accutane.

I have never used a lip balm, I actually prefer a lip gloss. I guess I'm lucky as I don't suffer from dry lips

I can't. Because tendency is I would lick my lips and if it dries out I can't avoid to peel off the the dry skin.

Because I drink so much water and herbal tea, I never have dry lips. That and wearing lipstick all the time.

I could not live without my lip balm. As I'm getting older, I realized I can't tolerate being uncomfortable. I have a lip balm in every single one of my bags and in my jackets.

I very rarely use lip balm. I feel like it actually dries out my lips!

Yes, I'm concerned about using lip balm too much because it seems my lips get dependent on it and dry out, when that was never a problem for me. These days I use it alone but also as a barrier to protect from questionable lip pencil/stick/gloss ingredients. Even if they're supposed to be benign, I prefer to buffer & smooth out my lips with balm first.

Somewhat on topic, I had a woman ask to borrow my lip balm in a bar's washroom the other night. I tried to be polite while lightly telling her I'm finicky & don't share things like that but I could not keep the look of disgust off my face. Neutral
