I have been reading for the past few weeks all the messages on this board. And i have to say that i'm lost as to what skin regieme to start with.
I'm currently using odds'n'sods. Like a body shop facial cleanser. And my avon moisturiser.
The only (what i would call) good skin care that i have used in the past was md formulations.
I'm thinking of buying, some mdf facial cleanser, then a advanced hydrating complex. I have used these to products before and i felt the benefit from these. But do i have to use the corrector. I found that a bit thick to use. I also bought the hydrating cream. Which is for use once a week.
But after reading some of the messages on these pages i'm confused. As so much stuff sounds good.
I also think that my skin is de-hydrated as it feels very tight. So i have started this week on my healthy eating and excercising programme. With a view to losing a stone over the next 8 weeks as that's when i go away.
So any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks. |

Well, there are many skincare products that would be suitable, it's just a matter of experimenting and finding what works for you best. It also depends on your skin type (obviously) and to an extent on your environment (humid, hot, freezing etc).
Before you started using the Body Shop cleanser did your face also feel tight?
I think MDF products in general are very good but I'm not really all that familiar with their products for dry skin. I really like the Antioxidant Serum from the MDF range. The Advanced Hydrating Complex is also pretty good. I used to use that over my vit C serum for some added moisture before applying moisturiser. |

Thanks for that.
And yes my face did feel very tight before i started using the bodyshop cleanser. I used it becuase my sister loved it and she has been using it for ages. She has real good skin and it's soft.
I think when i get paid next month i'll start to use the md formulations again. As i'm due to go away in 8 weeks and i want my skin to feel good for that.
Will keep having a read of the messages on this board, but it takes so long. |
