Aromatherapy is very good for many reasons.
1)relaxation
2)some scents actually help curb appetite (vanilla)
3)smells can trigger wonderful memories that make you feel good (my Nana's house always smelled like banana bread): )
4)A fresh clean scent in your house makes you feel more comfy and cozy
etc. |

My favourite scents change ever so often. I used to like lavender, but prefer rose at the moment. I use it as a face compress, in my face and shower gels, hand and body lotions. I'm starting to enjoy burning candles and essential oils. Mdy favourite scent for candles is Crabtree and Evelyn's Isla Glen Fragranced Candle.
"Deep, rich and peppered with leather accords, its mellow fragrance suggests lush carpets of Heather, mighty oaks and proud sycamores. Meadow grasses and delicate wildflowers lace the rustic pathway, while a simple breath whisks you away to warm highland retreats."

I do like aromatherapy but this got me thinking. Is there any scientific proof that aromatherapy works and has benefits? Just curious as I know with skincare products we often ask for studies etc, and I am just starting to think that we should apply that to everything. Anyone know? |
